This 1 bedroom maisonette flat in Chelsea, London was completely refurbished from top to bottom in early 2023. Everything from the wooden floors to the kitchen to the windows to the ceiling is brand new—the only untouched original item is the staircase banister and even that was repainted. We replaced the old carpets with gorgeous wooden herringbone floors, including on the stairs. We exposed the brick around the fireplace in the living area and repainted every wall in the flat. We reconfigured the separate kitchen and living rooms into one large space with room for living and dining, plus a custom, open kitchen with a pantry and all new appliances (including fridge, freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, wine fridge, and washer and dryer units). We added custom closets and shelving to the bedrooms, and finally, reworked the bathroom from an outdated, cramped space into a beautifully tiled sanctuary with a glass shower.
